Taking Mental Health Prevention into the Heart of London
9 October 2026

This October, Maxable Global is taking mental health prevention into some of London’s busiest public spaces.
On 10 October, World Mental Health Day, a public Dance-a-thon will take place at London Bridge Station and London Victoria Station. A week later, on 17 October, the focus will move to Trafalgar Square, bringing together lived experience, professional insight and community voices.
Mental health should not remain invisible, and it should not stay a whispered conversation.
That is why Maxable Global is taking this work into the heart of London — into places where people can see it, engage with it and become part of the conversation.
At the centre of both events is one question:
What can we do earlier?
At Maxable Global, our focus is on prevention by strengthening mental wellbeing, resilience and early support.
It’s okay not to be okay — but what are we putting in place earlier to support mental wellbeing?
10 October: Movement, Connection, Conversation
For World Mental Health Day, Maxable Wellness Moves – Dance-a-thon: Dance for Wellness will bring movement into two major London stations.
London Bridge Station | 11am–1pm
London Victoria Station | 2pm–5pm
Dance is being used not simply as a performance, but as a way of bringing people together.
Movement can create connection, and connection can make it easier for people to engage, participate and talk.
The message for the day is simple:
Movement. Connection. Conversation.

17 October: Mental Health in the Spotlight
On 17 October, from 2pm–5pm, Maxable Global will continue the public discussion at Trafalgar Square.
This event will focus more directly on lived experience and on what could have made a difference sooner.
Four questions will guide the afternoon:
What helped?
What was missing?
What should have happened earlier?
What can we change for the next person?
These questions matter because prevention is not only a policy idea. It is often found in ordinary things: being noticed, having someone to speak to, feeling connected, developing resilience and receiving support at the right time.
Lived experience can help us understand where those things were present — and where they were missing.

Beyond Awareness
World Mental Health Day brings important attention to mental health every year.
But awareness should also lead to action.
For Maxable Global, the next step is to ask what we can strengthen in everyday life — in families, schools, workplaces and communities — so that mental wellbeing is supported more consistently and more openly.
These events are not only about talking about mental health.
They are about making mental wellbeing visible and part of everyday life.
MOVE. SPEAK. LISTEN. PREVENT.
Mental health is too important to remain invisible or to stay a whispered conversation.
This October, Maxable Global is bringing that message into the heart of London — through movement, lived experience and public engagement.
The question at the centre of it all is simple:
What can we do earlier?
