From Community Dance Floors to the Heart of London

We Got London Moving — and Talking!

Who knew a few dance steps could start so many conversations?

On 10 October 2026, World Mental Health Day, Maxable Global took its Maxable Wellness Moves – Dance for Wellness initiative beyond its regular community workshops and into two of London’s busiest railway stations — London Bridge and London Victoria.

Amid the rush of commuters and travellers, people stopped, smiled and joined the dancing. Strangers connected, conversations began, and the usual rush made room for music, movement and shared moments.

We started with dance steps. We left with conversations and connections.

Why Dance?

Because music and movement can lift spirits, bring people together and create opportunities for meaningful connection.

And sometimes, a step on the dance floor can also be a step towards better mental wellness.

Through our regular Maxable Wellness Moves workshops, we have seen how dance can bring people together. On World Mental Health Day, we took that experience into public spaces, inviting more people to participate and start conversations about mental wellbeing.

The music may stop, but the movement continues.
