My Voice Matters — Children’s Mental Health Week 2024

Cllr Ramji Chauhan presented certificates to children at the event.

Children took centre stage at Maxable Global CIC’s event exploring “My Voice Matters”, the theme of Children’s Mental Health Week 2024.

They spoke about what the theme meant to them, sharing their thoughts with the audience in their own words. The occasion gave children space to express themselves and adults an opportunity to listen directly to their perspectives.

The Mayor of Harrow, Councillor Ramji Chauhan, joined the event and personally presented participation certificates to the children, recognising the part each had played.

Neelam Chawla, Director of Maxable Global, with Cllr Ramji Chauhan.

At the heart of the event was a simple belief: children should have a say in conversations about their lives and wellbeing. Their involvement put that belief into practice, making their voices the focus of the occasion.
